Street luge is an extreme gravity-powered activity that involves riding a streetluge board (sometimes referred to as a sled) down a paved road or course. Street luge is also known as land luge or road luge. Like skateboarding, street luge is often done for sport and for recreation.
Other than the prone riding position and greater than 70 miles per hour (115 km/h) speed, street luge has little relation to its winter namesake (luge).

I finally bought a bike that i always longed for – honda crf 450R year 2002. Since i was a kid i have always loved dirt bikes. dad always took me to the race in my town every year and since I have seen the first race i knew that i have to have one of these bikes, now i finally got it! We all now that those bikes require a lot of maintainance and service so i will try to write some tutorials here to maintain these bikes.

2007 is the 100th anniversary of the Isle of Man TT, an international motorcycle race held annually on the Isle of Man, just off the coast of England. The race is run on a two-lane public road that circles the island for a distance of 37.75 miles. The current lap record is held by John McGuinness with a time of 17 minutes, 29 seconds at an average speed of 129.45 MPH, but speeds can reach over 200 MPH. The Isle of Man TT is one of the most dangerous races in the world and since 1907 there have been 223 deaths. (including the MANX race) One thing is certain, these riders are extremely talented. The amount of focus required to navigate a two-lane road at such high speeds is nothing short of amazing.

GT produce some amazing bikes featuring their i-Drive suspension system, which eliminates pedal feedback. One of their latest is the 2007 DHi. This rig is designed as a downhill race bike – in fact, it’s one of the lightest off-the-peg downhillers out there – and it wants to do just one thing: go flat-out all the time.

Martin Strel, a legendary Guinness record marathon swimmer, has always been looking for the challenges of impossible and the Amazon is going to be the next one. On Feb 1st 2007 Martin Strel is going to start swimming all the way from Atalaya (Peru) to the Atlantic Ocean at Belém (Brazil). He is planning to reach 3,375 mile (5,430 kms) long ultimate challenge in 70 days.

ASPEN/SNOWMASS, Colo. (Jan. 25, 2007) — Snocross action from Winter X Games 11 begins tomorrow at 7 p.m. MST with Round 1 of qualifying from Buttermilk Mountain. The event will be telecast on ESPN, beginning at 9:30 p.m. EST.
Round 1 will pit the 32 invited WPSA PowerSprots Snowmobile Tour athletes against each other in four heats of eight riders each. The top-two finishers in each six-lap heat will transfer to the final.

Fly By Wire is an insane setup in the mountains of New Zealand. It involves a wire strung between two peaks and a little vehicle with a propeller suspended from the center. You then lie down on your stomach in this vehicle and go to town, controlling the throttle and steering as you whip around hundreds of feet in the air. Basically, it looks like the most fun you could ever have while suspended from a wire between two mountains. It’s in a remote area, so they transport you out there, which is included in the $96 per person fee they charge for a 25 minute ride. They’re even kind enough to offer an extra 2 minutes for $20 if you just don’t want to get down once you’re up there. Seriously, if this thing wasn’t on the opposite side of the globe I would be figuring out how to get there ASAP. Bring it to the States!
